Tommy Fury has confirmed he will reveal the name of his baby boy when he returns to the ring this weekend. Fury and fiancee Molly-Mae Hague celebrated the arrival of their second child earlier this week, just days before Fury takes on former World's Strongest Man Eddie Hall in a bizarre crossover boxing bout.
Name Announcement at Fight Night
Molly-Mae has hinted her partner will use the fight to announce their son's name by having it stitched into his shorts. Fury told Mirror Fighting: 'All will be revealed on Saturday night. I'm looking forward to it. I think I've been asked more about the name than the actual fight. It's going to be an entertaining night on Saturday and all will be revealed. It's been a huge week for me and it can't be described as anything other than a huge blessing.'
Family Joy and Preparation
Fury, who also has daughter Bambi with Molly-Mae, added: 'I've had a smile on my face all week. Everything's gone smoothly; Molly's happy, everyone's happy. So it's just about getting on to fight night, getting that done, and enjoying the summer with the family. That's what's on my calendar for the foreseeable. It's been the best week that you could ever ask for. A beautiful baby boy, and a main event on Saturday night in my hometown. It's full steam ahead now.'
Fury locked himself away from his family for 10 weeks to prepare for the challenge of 30-stone Hall. But he insists he's looking forward to taking care of his giant opponent before turning his attention to changing nappies. 'I've been there but at the end of the day, my duties properly start after the fight,' he said. 'All the late-night stuff will come after the fight. I've got an amazing partner back home and she understands the job ahead and I'm focused on that job. I'll get the job done on Saturday and return home to change some s***ty nappies.'
Continuing the Family Legacy
Fury's son will continue the family name, with Tommy's dad John set to be in his corner on Saturday night. The former Love Island star added: 'I've got a boy and a girl now and it's just unbelievable. I'll teach them to grow up with manners just like I was taught to grow up with, and to mind your P's and Q's. I don't really care what they do for a living, they can do whatever they want. I won't push them into anything. I'll be very supportive of what they want to do, and as long as they're respectful kids, that's all a parent can really ask for.'
