Dr Melaxin's Multi-Balm stick, hailed by TikTok users as a 'filler in a stick', has seen its price reduced to £16 on Amazon, down from its usual £22. The K-beauty brand's product has gained viral popularity, with TikTok Shop reporting sales of 13,000 units in just six days.
The balm combines ingredients such as calcium, vitamin D, adenosine, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide to hydrate and smooth the skin. It comes in a solid, oil-based stick that melts on contact, designed to be used as the final step in a skincare routine. Users claim it creates a smoother base for concealer and reduces the appearance of fine lines.
Amazon shoppers have shared positive reviews, with one stating: 'This product is fab, it makes your skin feel so soft, and I can definitely see a reduction in wrinkles.' Another noted a 'visible difference in my skin after 3 days'. However, one reviewer mentioned it did not absorb well and preferred a creamier product for layering under makeup.
While the balm is compared to injectable fillers, experts note that topical products cannot replicate the effects of in-clinic treatments. Instead, they use hydrating ingredients and emollients to temporarily smooth the skin. Other affordable alternatives include RoC Derm Correxion Fill + Treat Serum and No7 Laboratories Line Correcting Booster Serum.
