Premier League clubs have adopted varied strategies for season ticket pricing ahead of the 2026/27 campaign, with some freezing costs and others implementing increases. Manchester City recently announced a freeze on their season ticket prices, drawing praise from supporters. However, the cheapest adult season ticket across the league is offered by West Ham United at £345, though this figure is subject to change as the club has yet to confirm its 2026/27 pricing.
How Do Premier League Season Ticket Prices Compare?
Manchester City's cheapest adult season ticket for all 19 home Premier League fixtures next season will cost £425, making them the second most affordable option after West Ham. This follows the club's decision to freeze all matchday prices, a move approved after discussions with the fan board City Matters. In contrast, Manchester United have raised prices by five per cent in some areas, with their most affordable season ticket now priced at £646.
Arsenal lead the list with the most expensive cheapest season ticket at £967, followed by Chelsea at £880 and Tottenham Hotspur at £856. Tottenham have frozen their prices for 2026/27, while Chelsea are yet to confirm their costs after ending a long price freeze last year. Aston Villa, whose cheapest ticket is currently £804, have not announced next season's pricing, and the temporary closure of their North Stand could push the figure higher.
Price Increases and Freezes
Liverpool have raised their cheapest season ticket by approximately three per cent to £734.50, prompting protests from fans. Everton have similarly increased prices by five per cent, with their cheapest ticket at the new Hill Dickinson Stadium set at £640. Sunderland supporters face the steepest hike, with a roughly 12 per cent rise following the club's successful Premier League campaign.
Several clubs have opted for freezes, including Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace, and Tottenham, alongside Manchester City. Coventry City, promoted to the top flight, introduced a loyalty scheme, resulting in a cheapest ticket of £500. Fulham also offer a £500 option, though this is based on 2025/26 pricing.
