Sky Offers 4K Glass TVs for £4.50 in World Cup Deal Before Deadline
Sky Glass TVs at £4.50 for World Cup: Limited Time Offer

Sky is offering 4K smart TVs for as little as £4.50 to help football fans upgrade their viewing setup for the FIFA World Cup, but the deal ends soon. To celebrate the start of the 2026 tournament in Canada, Mexico, and the USA, the provider is giving customers 20% off Sky Glass TVs.

Discounted Prices and Models

This reduces monthly payments to £4.50 (down from £6) for the latest Sky Glass Air model, equivalent to 15p per day. This price applies to the 43-inch version, while the 55-inch and 65-inch variants now cost £7.75 and £10.25 per month respectively. The offer also applies to the larger Sky Glass Gen 2, which starts at £11 per month (was £14).

Both models allow fans to watch all World Cup matches broadcast on BBC and ITV in 4K HDR quality. The Gen 2 additionally features Dolby Atmos sound through its built-in soundbar.

Deal Deadline

Customers must claim the discounts before Wednesday, June 17. The reduced prices cover the TV itself; new Sky customers also need a Sky TV package starting at £15 per month, which includes around 100 channels and a free Netflix subscription. The Ultimate TV bundle at £24 per month adds 35 extra channels plus HBO Max and Disney+ access. Sky Sports channels can be added for £20 per month, but this is not required to watch the World Cup.

Additional Details

The Sky Glass TV comes on a 48-month loan with a £20 upfront payment, while Sky TV subscriptions run for 24 months. Sky notes that prices may change during this period. The TV is touted as 'designed for football' with a 4K HDR Quantum Dot screen and a recent Real Time update that reduces streaming delay for live sports, including World Cup matches on BBC and ITV. A dedicated sports mode provides 'a crisp, cooler look, vivid colours and an electrifying burst of sound'.

Both models work over WiFi with plug-and-play installation, eliminating the need for a Sky box or satellite dish. Sky offers next-day delivery for orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday.

Differences Between Models

The Sky Glass Air offers rich sound via a Dolby Audio speaker system, while the Gen 2 has a built-in soundbar with Dolby Atmos. Tech experts at Uswitch say the Air model is 'ideal' for football fans seeking a great audiovisual experience at a relatively affordable price, but note that for a more immersive cinema experience, the Gen 2 or an external soundbar may be preferable.

Other retailers are also offering World Cup TV deals. EE is discounting TVs from Samsung, LG, Hisense, and others, including the Hisense A7QTUK QLED AI Smart TV from £289. Amazon has reduced its Ember Artline TV, with the 55-inch model now at £769.99 (saving £180).
