A man in his 30s is fighting for his life in hospital after falling from a height at a Salford tower block in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Police say the incident occurred at Adelphi Court in the Blackfriars area of the city at around 1:10am on Wednesday, June 17. Officers rushed to the scene on Cannon Street, where they found the man with serious injuries consistent with a fall from height.
He was taken to hospital, where he remains in a critical condition, according to the Manchester Evening News.
Arrests Made
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police (GMP) confirmed that a 33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) and possession of Class A drugs.
A 43-year-old man was also detained on suspicion of assault causing GBH and possession of an offensive weapon.
Both men remain in custody. Officers are continuing their investigation to determine the cause of the incident, the spokesperson added.
