A four-year-old British girl has tragically died after being rescued from a swimming pool at a hotel in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote. The incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. local time on Saturday at a resort in the municipality of Yaiza, located on Avenida de Pechiguera.

The child was pulled from the water showing signs of drowning and was already in cardiorespiratory arrest. Emergency services were alerted immediately.
