Spyro, Persona 6, and Crazy Taxi: Best Xbox Showcase Trailers

Microsoft may be returning to console exclusivity for select titles, as revealed during the Xbox Games Showcase on Sunday evening. While Gears of War: E-Day was announced as an Xbox exclusive, most other titles are also coming to PlayStation 5.

Fable Gets a Release Date

Microsoft announced that Fable will launch on February 23, 2027, moving from its original date to avoid Grand Theft Auto 6. The trailer showcased stunning graphics, among the best seen on Xbox Series X. However, concerns remain about the humor, as the footage relies heavily on performative swearing rather than genuine wit, despite the involvement of many British comedians.

Halo: Campaign Evolved

This remake of the original Halo campaign, sans multiplayer, arrives on July 28. It includes three new missions, though the trailer's wisecracking dialogue felt out of step with the original's tone. The game is also confirmed for PlayStation 5.
