EastEnders: Jasmine Fisher Erupts After Oscar and Josh Affair

Jasmine Fisher (Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness) is left reeling in EastEnders after uncovering the truth about Oscar Branning's (Pierre Counihan-Moullier) affair with her twin brother Josh Goodwin (Joshua Vaughan).

The Backstory

Oscar previously dated Jasmine, who went to prison for the murder of her biological father Anthony Trueman (Nicholas Bailey). While she was behind bars, Oscar grew uncertain about his feelings for her due to her villainous behaviour towards her estranged mother Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan) and the big lie she told about his father Max (Jake Wood). During that time, he connected with Josh, and the two subsequently slept together, unaware that Josh was Jasmine's twin brother.

When Jasmine was found not guilty and released back to the Square, Oscar decided to give her another chance. However, it was clear that his heart lay with Josh, and despite their efforts to resist, the fling resumed.

The Confrontation

Earlier this week, Josh told Oscar about the mystery surrounding his and Jasmine's adoptive father's death. Sandra (Dawn Steele) believed Jasmine had a role in the patriarch's demise, though Jasmine insisted it was an accident. Armed with this information, Oscar sought answers from Jasmine, who lashed out in the Vic, smacking him across the face. Humiliated and heartbroken, Oscar went to Josh, where passion reignited. However, Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) witnessed their embrace.

With Jasmine wanting Oscar at her birthday bash and Zoe inviting Josh, it was only a matter of time before the truth exploded. Josh confessed the affair, and new pictures reveal the immediate aftermath, with Jasmine confused and seeking answers from both Oscar and Josh, while Zoe intervenes as tensions escalate.

What's Next?

The question remains: will Jasmine retaliate? EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One or streams from 6am on BBC iPlayer.
