Amanda Holden was left utterly stunned on the Heart Radio Breakfast Show this week after openly discussing her so-called unconventional crushes. The 55-year-old Britain's Got Talent judge, alongside her co-host Jamie Theakston, was exploring the theme of unusual attractions live on air, inviting listeners to share their own peculiar preferences.
Amanda's Admission
Revealing her personal taste, Amanda confessed she has a particular soft spot for follically challenged men, especially those involved in the property industry. She listed several favourites, including Owen Wilson, Jack Nicholson, Thomas Sweeney, Peter Dinklage, and Stephen Graham. However, her most surprising declaration was her admiration for Kevin McCloud, the charismatic presenter of Grand Designs.
Much to her astonishment, Kevin McCloud happened to be making his way into the building at that very moment. Realising his arrival, Amanda exclaimed, "You are lying! Oh my God. How did you get him in?" Clearly overjoyed, she embraced him warmly and added, "Look how wonderful he dresses as well, he's such a smart, snappy dresser."
Kevin's Playful Response
Reacting to Amanda's confession, Kevin quipped, "Look, I know you call it unconventional and not weird, but I think it's a bit weird." The Britain's Got Talent judge quickly retorted, "It's not weird; I've seen you on a bike as well, he's very fit. I lost my mind, he cycled past me once on the streets of London." Pressed further by Jamie, Kevin added with a grin, "I've been thinking about it on the way and I decided not to turn back. It's a beautiful moment."
Wardrobe Malfunction Mishap
The light-hearted exchange followed Amanda's earlier anecdote about an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction during a recent dog walk. She recounted, "I've got three dogs now as you know, so wrangling three dogs on your own is a thing. I didn't have a bag, but I had my doggy poo bag container, a ball, and my phone. So I put that in my pocket, but on the zipper of my top, I attached the poo bag with a clip and my car keys because I thought, 'Right, that's there so I've got hands free to play with the dogs and pick up poo and do anything else I need to do.'"
After frolicking around and playing fetch, she realised it felt "a bit draughty." She continued, "And I look down and the weight of the dog poo bag and my car keys had unzipped me all the way and it was completely open. Then trying to do myself up before this sweet old couple with their poodle came. You know when you're going, 'Oh my god', they probably think I'm flashing them," she laughed.
Britain's Got Talent continues tonight at 7pm on ITV and ITVX. Listen to Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden weekdays from 06:30 to 10:00 across the UK and on Global Player.
