Amanda Owen has broken her silence following the debut of her ex-husband Clive Owen's new reality series, 'Beyond Yorkshire Farm', on Channel 5. The show, which features Clive and their son Reuben, aired its first episode this week, focusing on their life on the remote Cumbrian farm after Amanda's departure.
In a cryptic Instagram post, Amanda shared images of her children enjoying a dark, misty night on the farm, captioning them: 'The stars at night' with hashtags including #DarkSkies and #NightOwls. She added the enigmatic comment: 'Let there be light.' The post made no direct mention of Clive's new venture.
The first episode of 'Beyond Yorkshire Farm' showed Reuben learning the family business, including digging pools with his father. A touching scene saw Clive asking Reuben about his relationship with girlfriend Sarah, who amused viewers with her fear of frogs.
Amanda and Clive announced their separation earlier this year after 21 years of marriage. In November, Channel 5 confirmed the cancellation of 'Our Yorkshire Farm' following the split. However, the network has hinted at future projects with Amanda, stating they will continue to work with her.
Discussing the separation on Instagram, Amanda said: 'Clive and I are sad to confirm that we have made the difficult decision to separate. This hasn’t been easy, but we both believe it’s the right choice for the future of our family. Although we are no longer a couple, we continue to work on the farm and co-parent together.'
