Ant McPartlin and his ex-wife Lisa Armstrong have officially severed their last remaining tie, as the former couple's marital home has been sold. The property, a five-bedroom house in west London, was purchased by the pair in 2006 for £2.3 million and has now been sold for £3.2 million, subject to contracts.
End of an Era
Eight years after their divorce in 2018, the sale marks the end of any lingering connection between the TV presenter and the make-up artist. The house had been on the market for over two years, initially listed at £4 million in May 2024, but Lisa accepted a lower offer to finalise the sale.
Since the divorce, Lisa had been renting out the property. However, in September 2023, a fire caused over £1 million in damages, delaying the sale. After repairing the home, she is reportedly excited to move on completely. A source told the Mirror: "She is delighted that the last remnants of her marriage have been finally put to bed."
Property Features
The home includes a gym, a cinema room, and an 80-foot south-facing rear garden with a garden studio. Lisa had built an impressive property portfolio using the £31 million settlement from Ant, including a £3.8 million house in west London and another near Oxford worth over £700,000.
Background of the Divorce
Ant and Lisa divorced in January 2018, just two months before Ant crashed into two cars while over twice the drink-drive limit. He was fined £86,000 and banned from driving for 20 months. Following the crash, he took a 10-month break from TV and entered rehab for alcohol and prescription medication dependency.
Ant is now married to his former assistant Anne-Marie Corbett, 46, and they have a son, Wilder, born on May 14 last year.
The Final Goodbye
Before the house sale, the couple's shared dog Hurley passed away in February at age 12. Hurley had been at the centre of a custody battle during the divorce, with Lisa and Ant sharing custody. On the day Hurley was put down, Ant rushed to join Lisa at the vets. A source said: "The one thing they both loved was that dog. The dog brought them together and was like an anchor. Lisa has been very hurt by Ant, but they were able to put that behind them in the vet’s office. It was a truce."
