Birds of a Feather Cast: Where Are They Now?

Birds of a Feather, the beloved BBC sitcom that first aired in 1989, ran for 12 series over more than 30 years. The show followed Tracey Stubbs (Linda Robson) and Sharon Theodopolopodous (Pauline Quirke), two neighbours whose husbands were sent to prison, alongside the flirtatious Dorien Green (Lesley Joseph). Other notable cast members included Alun Lewis as Tracey's husband Darryl, Peter Polycarpou as Sharon's husband Chris, and Matt Willis (of Busted fame) as Tracey's son Gareth in the 2014 revival.

Linda Robson, now 65, has continued her TV career as a panellist on Loose Women and reprised her role as Tracey for the show's revival. In 2017, she revealed she had been buried in debt after the original series ended, but is now debt-free and lets her children manage her finances. She separated from her husband Mark Dunford in 2023 after 33 years of marriage.

Pauline Quirke, who played Sharon, has appeared in Broadchurch and You, Me And The Apocalypse since Birds of a Feather. She was absent from the 2020 Christmas special, sparking rumours of a rift with Linda Robson, which Linda denied. In January 2025, it was announced that Pauline has stepped back from all work following a dementia diagnosis in 2021, as confirmed by her husband Steve Sheen.
