John Travolta has been drawn into a bitter legal dispute involving the Presley family, after an amended lawsuit made unsubstantiated claims about the parentage of his teenage son with late wife Kelly Preston. The $50 million breach-of-contract lawsuit, filed by Priscilla Presley's former business associates Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko, names Priscilla and her son Navarone Garibaldi Garcia as defendants.
The filing, obtained by the Daily Mail, alleges that Elvis Presley's granddaughter Riley Keough donated her eggs to Travolta and Preston for the birth of their son Ben, now 15, in 2010. If true, this would make Ben Elvis's great-grandson. The document also claims that Riley's late mother, Lisa Marie Presley, had previously donated her eggs to help Preston conceive, though it is unclear if those eggs resulted in a child.
The allegations are attributed to Michael Lockwood, Lisa Marie's ex-husband and father to her twin daughters. Lockwood denied any knowledge of the claims, telling the Daily Mail: 'That just sounds crazy. I have not heard anything about it.' The complaint does not provide medical evidence to support the assertions.
The amended complaint further alleges that the Travoltas approached the Presleys in 2010, a year after the death of their son Jett, claiming Travolta sought to 'salvage his career' amid sexual misconduct allegations he has long denied. It also claims Lockwood said Travolta declined Lisa Marie's eggs due to her reported opioid addiction, allegedly stating they did not want 'eggs with heroin' on them.
Travolta and Preston married in 1991 and had three children: Ella, now 25, Benjamin, and Jett, who died at 16 in 2009. Preston gave birth to Ben in November 2010 at age 48. The lawsuit's claims remain unproven and are part of a wider legal battle involving Priscilla Presley.
