Emily Atack Flaunts Slim Figure Amid Weight-Loss Jab Speculation
Emily Atack Shows Off Slim Figure After Jab Claims

Actress Emily Atack, aged 36, continued to display her newly slimmed-down physique on Thursday, following accusations that she has been using weight-loss injections. The star slipped into a stylish black Agent Provocateur mini dress for a series of sultry Instagram photographs, highlighting her body transformation.

Instagram Post Sparks Controversy

Emily wore the chic black dress, which hugged her taut frame, over a fashionable black satin blouse featuring delicate lace detailing. She styled her long blonde hair in loose, bouncy curls and accentuated her features with glamorous makeup. The carousel of photos she shared ignited a fierce reaction from her followers, with many comments focusing on her appearance.

Accusations and Fan Reactions

Emily faced claims that she is using weight-loss jabs after revealing her new look during the Christmas period. Her comments section was flooded with messages, including some that directly questioned her methods. One follower wrote, 'Skinny jabs are jabbing,' while another asked, 'on the jabs? Looks good tho.' Others inquired, 'Are you on Mounjaro?' and 'That jab is making its rounds!'

However, many fans rushed to defend the actress against the speculation. One supporter pointed out, 'These comments! Aren't we over talking about women's bodies?' Another agreed, stating, 'The thing is, women can't win. We are either too fat or too skinny. While I appreciate you admiring her a bit larger, her size or any woman's size is not for public comment. Let's just say she is stunning.' A further comment noted, 'Its amazing that she's posted a whole reel of lovely Xmas photos and 80% of the comments are about her body.'

Celebrity Support and Personal Insights

Emily's celebrity friend Katherine Ryan also weighed in, simply writing 'GIRL' accompanied by a string of fire emojis. This comes as Emily welcomed her first child, a baby boy named Barney, with her scientist fiancé Alistair Garner in June 2024. Just months after the birth, Emily revealed she had been inundated with questions about her weight but refused to rush back to the gym.

Speaking to Jamie Laing on his Great Company podcast in November 2024, Emily shared her thoughts on postpartum body pressure. She said, 'There's something quite liberating about having a baby. Your body goes through so much and you genuinely look at your body as a completely different vessel.' She laughed, adding, 'Are you kidding? I've just created a human, I am exhausted! I've just tried to push a human out of me and had it ripped out of my stomach. The last thing I want to do is go to the gym but the first thing you're expected to do is get back into shape.'

Historical Context and Body Image Struggles

Emily expressed frustration at the societal expectations placed on new mothers, noting, 'Where's the congratulations for being a mother? Instead it's when are you going to get the baby weight off... I'm not back at the gym at the minute, I've actually put on more weight since giving birth. I'm just enjoying this bit.' She also reflected on her past experiences with body image, particularly during her breakout role as Charlotte Hinchcliffe in The Inbetweeners.

She explained, 'Everybody started talking about my weight. There was a whole Facebook page dedicated to me/Charlotte Hinchcliffe. I couldn't believe how awful it was, people talking about my weight.' Emily highlighted the confusion she felt, saying, 'Some people were saying I'm sexy and beautiful and others saying I'm fat and ugly. It was so confusing.'

Healthy Relationship with Weight

Despite the criticism, Emily revealed that she has always maintained a healthy relationship with her weight. She stated, 'Luckily I've never ever had any unhealthy eating habits, or dieting, I'm so f***ing lucky that I've never in my life. I don't go on diets. There have been times in my life where I've thought I've got to lay off the wine for a bit and get in shape for this new role or for my mental health I've gone to the gym a bit more but I've never become thinner because of being called fat. I've had to train my brain.'
