Australian actress Isabel Lucas, best known for her role in Home and Away, has announced she is pregnant with her first child at the age of 40. The star shared the news on Instagram on Monday, posting a series of pictures that show her growing baby bump.
In the photos, Lucas is seen posing on a beach in black lace underwear and a white throw-over, gently caressing her belly. Another image shows her in a white top and skirt set, lying on a picnic blanket with flowers. She captioned the post: 'Sometimes words flow and sometimes the mystery is too vast. All that remains is to feel. A new forever exists here. Among petals of silent wonder and pure love.'
The pregnancy, described as a 'miracle', will see Lucas become a first-time mother next year, just before she turns 41 in January. Her partner, American film director and professional surfer Cyrus Sutton, was featured in the post. The couple went Instagram official in August, with Lucas sharing romantic images of them cuddling by a waterfall.
Sutton, 43, won an Emmy in 2005 for his documentary 'Next Wave: A Tsunami Relief Story'. Lucas, who previously dated Chris Hemsworth in 2006, has kept her love life private. She has also been linked to Angus Stone and Adrian Grenier. Celebrity friends, including Sam Frost and Brittany Hugoboom, congratulated her on the news.
