Jennifer Aniston 'feels agony' for Brad Pitt in custody battle with Angelina Jolie

Jennifer Aniston is reportedly standing by her ex-husband Brad Pitt as he continues his custody battle with Angelina Jolie over their six children. According to a source cited by Hollywood Life, the former Friends actress is said to be 'feeling horrible' for Pitt and struggling to imagine the pain he is experiencing as a father separated from his children.

The source claimed: 'Jen is feeling horrible for the fight Brad is involved in over custody of the kids with Angelina. Jen can’t imagine what it must be like to fight with someone as powerful as Angelina over your own kids.' The insider added that Aniston is 'in agony' over the situation and believes Jolie should be 'more mature' and put the children's needs first.

The news comes as Angelina Jolie filed documents in a Los Angeles court on Tuesday accusing Pitt of failing to pay any 'meaningful' child support since their separation in September 2016. The documents stated that Pitt 'has paid no meaningful child support since separation' and that Jolie intends to seek a retroactive child support order.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who were married in 2014 after a long-term relationship, have been living separately and struggling to reach a permanent custody agreement. In June, reports emerged that Jolie might lose primary custody after allegedly denying Pitt time with their children. The couple currently have a temporary joint custody arrangement.

Jennifer Aniston, who was married to Pitt from 2000 to 2005, recently addressed misconceptions about her personal life in an interview with InStyle, denying that she is 'heartbroken' over her split from Justin Theroux. She also dismissed rumours of a secret remarriage to Pitt, which had been reported by InTouch Weekly in July.
