Katie Price has shared a New Year message on Instagram reflecting on her 'rollercoaster' 2017, but eagle-eyed fans noticed she made no mention of her husband, Kieran Hayler. In the post to her 1.7 million followers, she thanked her children, mother, and family, but Kieran was conspicuously absent.
The former glamour model listed her achievements over the past year, including launching a single, a nutrition range, and a beauty line, as well as starring in her reality show 'My Crazy Life'. She also mentioned starting a petition against bullying of her son Harvey, who has disabilities.
Katie's omission comes amid reports of marital strife. In August, she announced she was divorcing Kieran after discovering he had a year-long affair with the couple's nanny, Nikki Brown. Despite this, the pair have not legally separated, and Kieran continues to share pictures of their children on social media.
The couple have two children together, Jett, three, and Bunny, two. Katie also has three other children from previous relationships: Harvey, 14, with Dwight Yorke, and Junior, 11, and Princess, nine, with Peter Andre.
Despite the tensions, a source told Closer magazine that Katie wanted to make Christmas memorable for her family, including giving Kieran time off from farm duties to spend with the children. She reportedly spent £2,000 on decorations, including four Christmas trees, to ensure her terminally-ill mother Amy had a festive season to remember.
