Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards is set to become a great-grandfather after his granddaughter, model Ella Richards, announced she is pregnant with her first child. Ella, 29, shared the news on Instagram with a black-and-white photograph showing her cradling her baby bump.
Ella is expecting her baby with her aristocratic boyfriend, Sascha von Bismarck, 31, whom she has been dating for several years. Sascha is the younger brother of photographer Count Nikolai von Bismarck and a great-great-grandson of Otto von Bismarck, the 19th-century German statesman.
Ella is the daughter of Marlon Richards, Keith's son from his relationship with the late Anita Pallenberg, and Lucie de la Falaise. She began her modelling career at 18, walking for top fashion houses and starring in a Burberry campaign shot by Mario Testino.
In a previous interview, Ella described her grandfather Keith as 'quiet and sweet and loving', far from his wild-man reputation. She also spoke of her bohemian upbringing, noting that 'most of my family are slightly mad and crazy or weird'.
