Little Mix Nearly Reunited, Says Perrie Edwards, But Now She's 'Good at Doing Nothing'

Perrie Edwards has revealed that Little Mix came close to reuniting after their 2022 hiatus, but the band ultimately decided to stick with their break. The 30-year-old singer admitted that she and bandmates Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall initially regretted their decision to step away from the group.

Speaking on the Dish from Waitrose podcast, Perrie said the trio were 'bored out of our minds' with free time after a decade of constant touring. She recalled a WhatsApp group where they discussed whether to go back, but ultimately decided to see the hiatus through. 'We were like, should we go back? It was so weird,' she said.

Perrie, who now has a solo career and a young son, said she has since learned to enjoy downtime. 'I love working and I also love not working. So I think it's a good balance,' she added.

Meanwhile, Perrie has hinted that her debut solo album includes a track about her former bandmate Jesy Nelson, who quit Little Mix in 2020. In an interview, Perrie said the song is about a friendship that ended and that she cannot listen to it without crying. Jesy has reportedly not spoken to her former bandmates since leaving.
