Michelle Keegan Reveals First Tattoos: Dog Names Pip and Phoebe, Not Mark Wright
Michelle Keegan's First Tattoos: Dog Names, Not Husband Mark

Michelle Keegan has revealed her first tattoos, and her husband's name is not included. The actress, 39, had two names inked on her body, but neither belongs to her husband, former reality star Mark Wright. Instead, she chose the names Pip and Phoebe, her two beloved dogs.

New Ink on Display

Michelle, who rose to fame on ITV's Coronation Street, shared a glimpse of her new body art on Instagram. She was photographed relaxing on a tattoo artist's bench as her dogs' names were inked on her feet. Another snapshot showed the tattoos prominently displayed as she wore a pair of brown YSL shoes. Her husband Mark, also 39, joined her at the studio, getting his own tattoo from a different artist across the room. Captioning the post, the Ten Pound Poms star wrote: "Last week was a good one."

Fan Reactions

Actress Amy-Leigh Hickman commented: "The tattoos," followed by four heart-eyes emojis. Another fan wrote: "The tattoos, I'm obsessed." A third person added: "OMG how cute for the doggies."

Birthday Tribute

Michelle's new ink comes after Mark celebrated her birthday by sharing a string of photos. He paid tribute to his wife of a decade, saying she "didn't look a day over 21." The pictures included moments from their 13-year relationship, including a recent family holiday with their daughter Palma. Mark wrote: "It's your day Baby. A year away from the big 4.0 but don't look a day over 21. You're too modest to realise how much of a special person you are, but what you do for us and everyone around you is more than you'll ever realise. Love you Darling M&P." The post garnered over 196,000 likes, with Michelle replying with a heart emoji.

Parenthood and Career

Michelle and Mark have embraced parenthood, regularly sharing snapshots of their trips together. She gave birth to their first child last year. Despite enjoying motherhood, Michelle is eager to return to work. In April, she was announced as the lead in a new ITV drama, The Blame, playing DI Emma Crane. She stars alongside Douglas Booth as DI Tom Radley. Michelle told Graham Norton: "Coming back to work after having a baby is quite daunting. The production were so supportive and I was so looked after and it was like working with family." The six-part series, filmed in and around London, follows the investigation into the death of a teenage figure skater, uncovering secrets and corruption in a seemingly quiet town.
