Roy Keane has revealed that he had a conversation with Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes following their recent feud. The former United star spoke about the phone call on the latest episode of The Overlap podcast.
Keane and Fernandes feud
Keane had previously criticized the mentality of United's players after Fernandes broke the record for the most assists in a single Premier League season on the final day against Brighton. Fernandes responded to those remarks in an interview with Steven Bartlett, prompting Keane to reach out.

Keane explained: 'I think there was a reaction to what we said on the podcast a few weeks ago and he reached out to me and wanted a chat. I did, I called him and we had a lovely chat about a bit of everything really.' He added that it was a mature conversation and that sometimes comments don't come across as intended.
The pair have now resolved their differences, with Keane describing the talk as 'nice' and 'mature.'
