Shania Twain Reveals Brad Pitt Nudes Inspired Hit Song

Shania Twain has finally revealed the inspiration behind her 1997 hit 'That Don't Impress Me Much', confessing that it was Brad Pitt's leaked nude photos that prompted the lyrics. The 51-year-old singer made the admission during a talk at Spotify HQ in New York City.

Twain explained that she was baking cookies with a friend around Christmas time when the scandal broke. Playgirl had published unauthorised nude photos of Pitt, which he later successfully sued over. The singer said she was perplexed by the media frenzy, remarking: 'We see people naked every day. That's really what I thought.'

The Canadian star insisted she was not targeting Pitt personally, stating: 'That was just the association in that moment... Of course, it could have been any gorgeous guy.'

Twain is preparing to release her first album in 15 years, titled 'Now', on September 29. She took an extended hiatus after being diagnosed with Lyme disease, which she contracted from a tick bite during her 2002 tour. The singer described the condition as causing 'very scary symptoms' that affected her voice.

In addition to the new album, Twain announced on The Tonight Show that she will embark on a tour next year.
