Su-Elise Nash, former member of the 2000s girl group Mis-Teeq, has revealed how she used her fame to confront a bully targeting her younger sister. The 42-year-old singer, who now lives in Australia, shared the story on The Kyle and Jackie O Show.
Nash, who has four younger sisters, visited her sister's school at the height of her fame. She agreed to take photos with students, but refused to pose with the bully, telling her: 'You better stop bullying my sister, don't let me come down here again.'
The school's response was unexpected: they banned Nash from the premises until her sister graduated. However, the tactic worked, as the bully stopped picking on her sister after being publicly embarrassed.
Mis-Teeq, which also included Alesha Dixon and Sabrina Washington, disbanded in 2005 after selling over 12 million records worldwide. Nash later studied teaching and opened a performing arts school before moving to Australia, where she runs a swimwear line and lives with her partner and son.
