Prince Harry and Meghan's Ludicrous Photographer Request Denied by Queen
Harry and Meghan's Photo Request Denied by Queen

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly made a ludicrous request during their last visit to the UK in 2022, asking to bring their own photographer to capture a private meeting between Princess Lilibet and the late Queen Elizabeth II. According to a source cited by The Sun, the request was met with a savage two-word reply: 'no chance'.

Details of the Request

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to return to Britain for the first time in four years, bringing their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The last time Archie and Lilibet visited the UK was in June 2022 for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations, which coincided with Lilibet's first birthday. While Archie had lived in Britain before moving to the US, Lilibet had never been to her father's home country or met her great-grandmother.

The Denied Photographer Request

The Sun reported that Harry and Meghan wanted their own photographer to capture the moment Lilibet met the Queen. A source said: 'Harry and Meghan wanted their photographer to capture the moment Lilibet met the Queen. But they were told no chance. It was a private family meeting.'

Sussexes' Denial

However, a source close to the Sussexes dismissed the claims, telling the New York Post: 'They just enjoyed a private and intimate visit with the Queen.' The source added that the couple 'didn't even bother asking for photos as the Queen wasn't feeling well'. The late monarch's health had deteriorated by that point, and she passed away a few months later on September 8, 2022.
