Romeo Beckham, 23, has launched his own fashion label, Intra, selling retro-style sportswear. The Beckham family, fresh from their yacht in Ibiza, posed en masse in the brand's football jackets, influenced by England, Brazil and America. The photo, posted on Victoria and Romeo's Instagram, has garnered over 200,000 likes.
The image shows Victoria, 52, David, 51, Cruz, 21, Romeo and their respective girlfriends, Jackie Apostel and Kim Turnball, on a staircase wearing Romeo's England-style bomber jackets. Victoria opted for a white sleeveless top and black trousers, likely from her own label. “So excited for you,” Victoria wrote on Instagram.
The launch comes weeks after news that Victoria's 14-year-old daughter Harper is launching her own beauty business, and after Cruz prepared for a July tour with his band, The Breakers. Critics have labelled the family's activities as “performative nepotism,” echoing eldest son Brooklyn's January criticism that the family prioritises the “brand” over relationships.
Brooklyn publicly accused his parents of valuing public promotion above family, stating: “Brand Beckham comes first. Family ‘love’ is decided by how much you post on social media.” Despite his comments, the family continues to ramp up their brand activities. David and Victoria have a combined net worth of £1.18bn, according to the Sunday Times Rich List.
