Ben Shephard's Rude Joke About Paul Hollywood Reduces Cat Deeley to Tears on This Morning

Cat Deeley was left in tears on Tuesday's episode of This Morning after co-host Ben Shephard made a cheeky joke at Paul Hollywood's expense. The Great British Bake Off star, 59, was demonstrating how to make Chelsea buns when the risqué comment was made.

As Hollywood drizzled icing over the buns, Deeley remarked: 'Oh, he's drizzling as we speak, he's drizzling!' Shephard quickly quipped: 'He never looks more attractive than when he's drizzling.' The studio erupted in laughter, with actors Orlando Bloom, Bryce Dallas Howard and Nick Mohammed, who were promoting their film Deep Cover, also seen laughing.

Hollywood responded sarcastically, saying 'Thank you Ben,' to which Shephard replied 'Sorry Paul!' The presenters struggled to regain composure, with Shephard wiping tears from his eyes and Deeley clutching her stomach. Shephard eventually managed to ask Hollywood about the buns, calling them 'delicious'.

Later in the show, Shephard and Deeley interviewed Martin Kemp, who addressed his recent confession on Loose Women about scheduling intimacy with his wife Shirlie Holliman. Kemp defended his comments, saying they were made in good humour, and added: 'My family have grown up taking the mickey out of each other.'
