EastEnders fans believe they have uncovered the connection between Mark Fowler Jr and the Brannings, following a flashforward to New Year's Day 2027. The scene showed Mark appearing close to Max and Lauren Branning, sparking theories about their relationship.
New spoilers suggest that a car lot business venture may be the key. Lauren and Max are set to join forces to run the business, but tensions arise when Mark offers Lauren a proposition involving luxury cars. Unbeknownst to Lauren, Mark has criminal motives, and when she sells one of the cars, Max becomes suspicious of the paperwork.
Detective Callum Highway later delivers a bombshell, leading Lauren to confront Mark. Fans speculate that Mark's criminal activities will draw Max and Lauren into organised crime, explaining the tense phone calls and messages Lauren receives, as well as Max's arrest and a gun threat seen in the flashforward.
