ITV's This Morning favourite Josie Gibson has declared she has 'finally made it' after sharing a major career milestone with her followers. The presenter, 40, expressed her excitement upon discovering her travel programme is now being shown on in-flight entertainment systems aboard major airlines.
From Big Brother to 30,000 Feet
Josie Gibson, who first found fame as the winner of Big Brother in 2010, posted a video to her Instagram Story this week. The clip, filmed from an airplane seat, showed her browsing the onboard entertainment options. To her delight, she spotted her own series, The First Class Travel Show, listed among the offerings for passengers.
"I've finally made it," she declared in the post. "1st class travel being shown on major airlines including @qatarairways." She added a heartfelt message of thanks to everyone involved in making the achievement possible. The series sees Josie exploring the luxurious world of first-class travel.
A Familiar Face on the ITV Sofa
Gibson is now a well-established television personality, regularly appearing on shows like Loose Women and This Morning. Her role on the flagship ITV daytime programme has become increasingly prominent. Just this week, she stepped in at the last minute to co-host alongside Dermot O'Leary after the scheduled presenter, Emma Willis, fell ill.
During Monday's episode (December 15), Dermot explained Emma's absence to viewers, stating she was "a little bit poorly" and sending her love. He then introduced Josie to the audience with the exclamation: "Look who is back with me. It's only Miss Josephine Gibson!"
A Versatile and In-Demand Presenter
Josie's career has diversified significantly since her reality TV beginnings. As well as her regular This Morning appearances, she has taken part in I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! and The Masked Singer. The ITV morning show is hosted from Monday to Thursday by Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, with Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond presenting on Fridays.
During holiday periods, the regular hosts are often replaced by a rotation of guest stars, a roster that includes Josie, Emma Willis, Rochelle Humes, and Christine Lampard. Her recent eleventh-hour substitution for Emma Willis underscores her status as a reliable and popular member of the ITV family.
This Morning airs on ITV on weekdays from 10am.
