Emma Willis Spotted Smiling Amid Reports of Strictly Come Dancing Host Role

Emma Willis has been seen for the first time since reports emerged that she is set to become the new host of Strictly Come Dancing. The presenter was photographed leaving a television studio in London on Thursday, beaming as she headed to her car.

Willis, who recently joined BBC Radio 2 with a new Saturday afternoon show, is reportedly taking over the BBC One dance programme alongside another famous face, following the exit of both Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman after the 2025 series. The BBC has not confirmed the news, stating that further plans for the next series, including hosts, will be announced in due course.

Zoe Ball, who previously hosted Strictly's spin-off It Takes Two, confirmed she had missed out on the role after screen tests. Speaking on her podcast, she said: 'I didn’t get it, but it’s OK. I have worked through the seven stages of grief and rejection.' Ball added that she believes the new host will be relieved once the announcement is made.

The BBC has confirmed that judges Craig Revel Horwood, Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse, and Anton Du Beke will return for the 24th series. Most professional dancers from 2025 are also returning, while Gorka Marquez, Michelle Tsiakkas, Karen Hauer, Nadiya Bychkova, and Luba Mushtuk have left the show.
