The film explores Odom's near-death experience in October 2015, when he was found unresponsive at a brothel in Nevada. It features interviews with Odom, his ex-wife Khloe Kardashian, and the brothel's former manager.
Odom, 46, survived a near-fatal overdose that caused kidney failure, 12 strokes, and six heart attacks. He was placed in a medically induced coma, and doctors advised his family to say their final goodbyes.
Despite the title, Odom is alive. He has described himself as a 'walking miracle' due to his survival. Viewers have criticised the title as misleading, with some rushing to Google to check if he had died.
