Tommy Fury has revealed that his three-year-old daughter Bambi is overjoyed with her new baby brother. The boxer and his fiancée Molly-Mae Hague welcomed their son earlier this week, just days before Fury is set to fight former World's Strongest Man Eddie Hall.
Speaking about Bambi's reaction, Fury said: "Bambi's coped well, she's coped really well. She just wants to hold him all the time and be with him. She's the best big sister in the world. It's been honestly great; I just can't wait to be back there every day and just be with them every minute of the day."
The couple has kept the baby's name a secret, but Fury plans to reveal it on his fight outfit. Fury has been away from home for a 10-week training camp, living in a campervan with his father John. He expressed his eagerness to return to family life after the fight, including changing nappies.
"It's been a huge week for me and it can't be described anything other than a huge blessing," he added. "I've had a smile on my face all week. Everything's gone smoothly; Molly's happy, everyone's happy. So it's just about getting on to fight night, getting that done, and enjoying the summer with the family."
Fury acknowledged that his fatherly duties will truly begin after the fight: "I've been there [since he was born] but at the end of the day, my duties properly start after the fight. All the late-night stuff will come after the fight. I've got an amazing partner back home and she understands the job ahead and I'm focused on that job. I'll get the job done on Saturday and return home to change some s***ty nappies."
