Next week on Coronation Street, Megan Walsh's mother Janine arrives in Weatherfield, offering to help as Megan prepares for her court case over the grooming of Will Driscoll. Janine walks into the Rovers Return, apologising for her daughter's behaviour, but Ben, Eva, and Maggie order her out.
Janine's Manipulative Plan
Janine returns to Megan's car, admitting there was no sign of Will. Megan breaks down, claiming Will took advantage of her when she was vulnerable and she could end up in prison. Taken in by the performance, Janine approaches Will on the street.
Will's Court Testimony
In the Rovers, the family fusses over a nervous Will as he prepares for court. At the mental health unit, Sam Blakeman frets about Megan's trial, worried she might be found not guilty and come after him. In court, Will's pre-recorded statement plays, but when questioned by his barrister, Megan's steely gaze unnerves him. Ben takes the stand and is cross-examined by Adam Barlow. Megan paints herself as innocent and questions Ben's parenting.
Sam's Discovery
Nick Tilsley lies to Sam, assuring him the trial went to plan. But Hope visits Sam and clams up when asked about Megan, prompting Sam to confront Nick and Toyah for lying. Meanwhile, Will tearfully tells Tim he's messed up and wants to tell the full truth if allowed to testify again. He enters the witness box, facing Megan.
