Zoey Deutch as Jill

Jill is an up-and-coming culinary talent currently employed at Flâner, an upmarket patisserie in San Francisco. The character is portrayed by Zoey Deutch, who has considerable experience in romantic comedies. Deutch has featured in independent productions such as Everybody Wants Some!! and Flower before achieving wider recognition through Zombieland: Double Tap and Set It Up, alongside Hollywood star Glen Powell. Additional notable credits include Juror #2, Something From Tiffany's, Anniversary, and a voice role in the forthcoming Minions and Monsters.

Nick Robinson as Wes

Wes works as a thriving property agent in Austin, Texas, which coincidentally is Jill's birthplace - a city she departed to chase her baking ambitions. Robinson should ring a bell for romantic comedy enthusiasts, having featured in the 2018 success Love, Simon. Nick Offerman as Chef Bastien

Comedy legend Nick Offerman portrays Jill's domineering superior Chef Bastien. He's perhaps most recognised for his iconic turn as Ron Swanson in Parks and Recreation. Since then, he's secured an impressive array of both serious and humorous parts, spanning 21 Jump Street, The Lego Movie and The Great North through to political thriller Civil War and Apple TV drama Margo's Got Money Troubles. Offerman previously collaborated with Voicemails for Isabelle co-star Nick Robinson on The Kings of Summer.

Lukas Gage as Arthur

Arthur is Jill's self-assured yet complex workmate at Flâner and is portrayed by emerging talent Lukas Gage. Following breakthrough performances in American Vandal, Euphoria and The White Lotus, Gage has established himself as a recognisable presence in prominent TV dramas and films, including Netflix's successful thriller You, horror productions Smile 2 and Companion, and Netflix's People We Meet on Vacation.

Harry Shum Jr. as Andy

Andy is Wes's lifelong best friend and they're so tight they refer to each other as 'cousins'. He's portrayed by actor and dancer Harry Shum Jr., who began his career on popular series Glee and Shadowhunters. He has subsequently secured a principal role in the recent seasons of Grey's Anatomy, acclaimed comedy-action picture Everything Everywhere All at Once, and voice parts in Kung Fu Panda 4 and Blue Eye Samurai.

Ciara Bravo as Isabelle

Actress Ciara Bravo portrays the eponymous Isabelle, who heartbreakingly develops cancer at a young age and dies but whose bond with sister Jill is examined throughout the picture. Bravo is a former Nickelodeon performer recognised for the popular series Big Time Rush as well as their TV films Jinxed and Swindle. She has also featured in Cherry with Tom Holland, Swiped with Lily James and You're Dating a Narcissist! with Marisa Tomei.
