David and Victoria Beckham were seen enjoying a lunch date by the river in West London on Wednesday, arriving in their £146,000 Mercedes G Wagon. The couple, who married in 1999, appeared relaxed as they dined at the River Cafe.
Victoria, 47, kept a low profile, wearing sunglasses with her hair loose, while David, 46, drove and wore a dark jacket over a light shirt. The outing comes amid reports that the Spice Girls are in confidential talks for a world tour in 2023, following their successful 2019 UK stadium concerts.
Mel B, Emma Bunton, and Geri Horner were spotted at a meeting in London last month, with Melanie C joining via Zoom from Los Angeles. The four members are reportedly trying to convince Victoria to join at least one show, though she has previously declined to participate in tours and other projects.
An insider told The Sun that the tour would likely begin in Australia, with plans to be 'bigger and better' than 2019. The source also claimed that Adele, a known fan, would attend after telling Mel B that the 2019 Wembley show 'made her year'.
Victoria has not commented on the tour rumours. She previously told Vogue Germany that it took courage to not join the 2019 tour, as things 'feel different now'. The band's representatives have been contacted for comment.
