Nick Kyrgios and his mixed doubles partner Desirae Krawczyk sparked dating speculation during a flirtatious press conference following their loss at Wimbledon on Friday. The pair, who lost to Marcus Daniell and Jennifer Brady, appeared more interested in each other than the match result.
Before the conference began, Kyrgios, 24, was overheard asking Krawczyk, 25, to join him for a night out, saying, 'We've got a club set up, it's going to be outrageous,' unaware the microphones were live. He later awkwardly covered his head and said, 'Um yeah, I'll just text you if you want.'
During the conference, Krawczyk teased Kyrgios when he claimed he planned a quiet night, calling him 'full of s***' and apologising for her language. The pair laughed frequently, with Kyrgios leaning over Krawczyk's chair and touching her arm.
Kyrgios revealed their partnership began when he 'slid into her DMs' on Instagram, saying he wanted to have fun. Krawczyk said she was surprised but thought, 'Sure, why not?'
Kyrgios praised his partner, saying, 'She's cool. She played awesome.' The Australian has faced criticism for his behaviour in singles, including admitting he aimed to hit Rafael Nadal with the ball during their match.
