The public ballot for Wimbledon 2026 tickets is now open, offering fans a chance to secure seats for the prestigious grass-court Grand Slam. The ballot closes on Tuesday, September 16 at 11:59pm BST. Applicants must first create a myWimbledon account on the official Wimbledon website to participate.
Each ballot application is for two tickets, though if a pair of seats is unavailable, some applicants may be offered two separate seats. Applications are limited to one per household, and guests cannot specify preferred days or matches. The ballot has been a fixture since 1924, ensuring fair access to the championships.
While the ballot is a popular route, it remains highly competitive, with approximately a one in ten chance of success. Alternatively, fans can queue on the day of play, with around 1,000 tickets released daily for Centre Court and Court 1 during the first ten days. The queue often attracts up to 10,000 hopefuls, some camping overnight.
For guaranteed access, debentures are available: Centre Court debentures for 2026-2030 cost £116,000, while No.1 Court debentures for 2022-2026 were priced at £46,000. Hospitality packages, including courtside seats and dining at The Treehouse, can be purchased from Keith Prowse.
The 2026 Championships will run from Monday, June 29 to Sunday, July 13, 2026. For more information, visit the official Wimbledon website.
