UK Travel Company T&C Travel Ordered to Wind Up After 7 Years
UK Travel Firm Ordered to Liquidate After 7 Years

T&C Travel Limited, a UK travel company specialising in public service vehicles and coach operations, has been ordered to wind up and cease operations, according to an official notice published in the London Gazette. The winding-up orders were issued on June 10, 2026, following a creditor petition filed on January 6, 2026.

Company Background and Insolvency

The company, incorporated in 2019, had its registered office at 31 Office 31 Bizspace, Courtwick Lane, Wick, Littlehampton, BN17 7TL. Its website has since been taken offline. Winding-up orders are issued by a court when a company becomes insolvent and cannot repay its debts, typically after a creditor applies to close the business.

In March 2026, the Traffic Commissioner formally revoked T&C Travel's public service vehicle operator's licence and disqualified its transport manager. The official receiver, J Peacock, has been appointed as liquidator. Liquidation involves the company ceasing trading, selling off assets, and repaying creditors where possible.

Broader Impact on Travel and Transport Industry

T&C Travel is one of several travel and transport companies to close in recent months. Strachan Travel Ltd, a Lancashire-based travel agency operating for over four decades, entered voluntary liquidation weeks ago, with all holiday packages cancelled. Additionally, ELI Group, an HGV training firm based in Bristol, has also plunged into liquidation, dealing a further blow to the UK transport sector.
