Pepsi Max Fan Drinks 277 Litres in a Year, Sparking Viral Reaction
Student's 277-litre Pepsi Max habit goes viral

A young woman's astonishing confession about her consumption of a popular diet drink has captivated social media, after she revealed she drank more than 277 litres of Pepsi Max in a single year.

A Fizzy Fixation Goes Viral

Jasmine Edwards, an 18-year-old student from Lincolnshire, shared a video on TikTok detailing her remarkable intake throughout 2025. The footage quickly went viral, amassing a staggering 1.8 million views and sparking thousands of comments.

Jasmine's tally for the year included a jaw-dropping 762 cans and 59 bottles of the caffeine-infused soft drink. She explained that her fondness for Pepsi Max began in childhood, when her mother would allow it as an occasional treat.

From Treat to Daily Routine

"Over time, it became part of my routine," Jasmine admitted. Initially, she attempted to limit herself to one can per day to ensure she drank enough water, but those restrictions soon faded. Her reliance grew to the point where she now struggles to start her morning without it.

"Usually, I will try to wait until after I eat lunch to have my first Pepsi Max," she said. "Though there are times that I wake up and know it is the only thing that will get me through the morning." Her family and friends are so aware of her devotion that they ensure it's stocked when she visits and even gift it to her.

Mixed Reactions and a Sweet Surprise

The online reaction to her viral video was divided. While many shared their own love for the drink, others expressed shock at the volume. One comment read, "As someone who only drinks water... this is insane." Another user joked about the quantity, comparing it to 39 times the average human blood volume.

However, the standout moment came when Pepsi UK themselves noticed her video. "Pepsi actually commented on my video, then they messaged me asking if they could send me something – I couldn't believe it," Jasmine said. The company sent her a gift of 12 bottles of their limited edition Gingerbread Pepsi Max.

Despite some concerns about the sugar-replacing chemicals in the diet drink, Jasmine is not slowing down. Armed with her new supply, she has already begun tracking her consumption for 2026 and is aiming to surpass her previous record.
