National Lottery Hunts 5 Missing Millionaires Before Christmas Deadline
Lottery hunts five missing millionaires before deadline

The National Lottery has launched a festive hunt for five lucky Britons who are sitting on life-changing fortunes but have yet to come forward. With a total of six unclaimed prizes still on the table, time is running out for the ticketholders to secure their windfalls before the deadlines expire.

The Clock is Ticking on Millions

Every winner of the National Lottery has approximately six months to claim their prize before it becomes void. The details of all outstanding major wins are listed on the National Lottery's official website, complete with where the ticket was bought and the final claim date. This year's unclaimed haul is particularly staggering, featuring four separate £1 million prizes and one colossal £10 million Lotto jackpot. In addition, one Set For Life winner is yet to claim a prize of £10,000 every month for an entire year.

The Unclaimed Prizes: Locations and Deadlines

The first prize set to vanish is a £1 million EuroMillions Millionaire Maker win from the draw on 15 August 2025. The ticket, bearing code 'VLPL28287', was purchased in Birmingham. The holder has until 11 February 2026 to claim it.

Next is the massive £10,633,323 Lotto win drawn on 4 October 2025 in Bexley, London. The winning numbers were 6, 8, 12, 33, 49, 59 and the Bonus Ball 42. This fortune must be claimed by 2 April 2026.

The unclaimed Set For Life prize, offering £10,000 monthly for a year, was won in West Dorset on 16 October 2025 with the numbers 1, 8, 12, 27, 46 and Life Ball 2. The deadline here is 14 April 2026.

A further £1 million EuroMillions prize from the UK Millionaire Maker draw on 31 October 2025 is waiting in Broxbourne. The winning numbers were 05, 14, 38, 43, 45, and the Lucky Stars 07 and 11. It expires on 29 April 2026.

A £1 million Lotto win from the 1 November 2025 draw in South Gloucestershire, with numbers 17, 18, 31, 36, 39, 51 and Bonus 29, must be claimed by 30 April 2026.

Finally, another £1 million EuroMillions ticket bought in Bournemouth from the 4 November 2025 draw (code 'HPCF58869') will expire on 3 May 2026.

What Happens to Unclaimed Lottery Millions?

If these fortunate individuals do not step forward in time, their potential millions will not simply disappear. By law, all unclaimed lottery prizes are transferred into the National Lottery's Good Causes fund. This community fund supports thousands of projects across the UK, from sports and arts to health and education initiatives. While the money still goes to a worthy cause, officials are keen to see it end up in the pockets of the rightful ticketholders, urging everyone to check their old tickets one more time.
