Lush Launches 'Adorable' Paddington Bear Collection with £6 Bath Bombs
Lush's Paddington Bear Range: Bath Bombs & Marmalade Wash

Lush Unveils Charming Paddington Bear Collaboration

Cosmetics retailer Lush has launched an enchanting new partnership with Britain's beloved fictional bear, Paddington, sending shoppers into a frenzy over the "adorable" collection. The range, which debuted on the Lush app from February 9 and became available in stores and online from February 12, includes a variety of themed bath and body products starting at just £6.

Paddington-Inspired Bath and Body Delights

The collection features a £6 bath bomb meticulously moulded into the shape of the iconic animated bear, complete with his signature red hat and blue duffle coat. This product promises to transform bath water, making it "glisten like marmalade," a nod to Paddington's favourite treat.

Another standout item is the £10 marmalade body wash, described as packed with "all the oranges a bear could ever want." Its formula incorporates orange peel, juice, zest, and orange blossom honey water, offering a hydrating lather. However, Lush humorously notes that it is not edible, despite its tempting aroma.

For fans of Paddington's famous emergency marmalade sandwich, there is a £9.50 bubble bar designed to resemble the sandwich itself. Additionally, a £6.50 soap bar mimics the luggage label from the Paddington film, bearing the heartfelt message, "Please look after this bear."

Complete the Set with a Paddington Suitcase

Rounding off the collection is a £7 Paddington suitcase, which can hold approximately four full-sized Lush products. This item adds a playful touch to the range, evoking the bear's journey from Peru to London with his trusty suitcase.

Lush and Paddington aim to blend "the bear's signature warmth, kindness and marmalade-loving charm with the brand's ethical, handmade bath and body products," creating a quintessential British collaboration.

Brands United by Kindness and Joy

Kalem Brinkworth, Lush Concepts and Collaborations Manager, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, "Paddington and Lush are a natural pairing because they share the same heart: kindness, curiosity, and a joyful sense of mischief." He added, "Paddington's world is full of comfort, warmth, and gentle adventure which are the exact feelings we aim to bring into every bath, shower, and self-care ritual."

Shoppers React with Delight

Lush enthusiasts have responded with overwhelming excitement to the new range. Social media buzz includes comments like, "No stop I'm obsessed," and "Omg how cute!" highlighting the collection's appeal to both longtime fans and new customers.

Paddington's Enduring Legacy

Paddington Bear, created by Michael Bond in 1958, remains a cherished figure in British culture. Bond was inspired to write the stories after purchasing a lonely teddy bear on Christmas Eve in 1956, naming the character after London Paddington Station due to his nearby residence.

The bear's popularity has soared with successful film adaptations, including releases in 2014 and 2017, and the latest installment, "Paddington in Peru," in 2024. Additionally, "Paddington: The Musical" opened at the Savoy Theatre in November 2025 and has been extended until February 2027 due to high demand.

This collaboration not only celebrates Paddington's timeless charm but also reinforces Lush's commitment to creating joyful, ethical products that resonate with consumers of all ages.
