Taco Bell Revives Quesarito and Adds Two Limited-Time Menu Items
Taco Bell brings back Quesarito for limited time

Fast-food giant Taco Bell has heeded the calls of its most devoted fans, announcing the triumphant return of its cult favourite Quesarito as part of a trio of new limited-time offerings. The menu expansion, which launched on Thursday 18 December 2025, is a direct response to overwhelming customer demand.

The Legendary Quesarito Makes Its Comeback

After years of relentless pleas in the comments sections of its social media posts, Taco Bell is finally letting customers "stop commenting 'bring the quesarito back'". The Quesarito, first introduced in 2014, is a unique creation that wraps seasoned beef, seasoned rice, chipotle sauce, and reduced-fat sour cream inside a grilled quesadilla, creating a burrito shell infused with melted cheese and nacho cheese sauce.

The item's fame was cemented early on when a Taco Bell commercial aired during the 2014 NBA Draft, famously overshadowing the moment the Denver Nuggets selected future star Nikola Jokić. Luis Restrepo, Chief Marketing Officer at Taco Bell, stated, "We heard our fans loud and clear. Their passion turned the Quesarito into a Taco Bell legend and bringing it back for the holidays felt like the perfect way to celebrate that energy." He added a light-hearted note to the basketball star: "Jokić, we hope there are no hard feelings."

New Dipping Burritos and Garlic Fries Join the Line-Up

Alongside the returning hero, Taco Bell is introducing two other limited-time items. The new Cheesy Dipping Burritos are snack-sized and come with a choice of slow-roasted chicken or steak, avocado ranch sauce, and cheese. Crucially, they are served with three dipping sauce options, including the fan-beloved Creamy Garlic Sauce. For $5.49, customers get two burritos and can choose between Creamy Garlic, Creamy Chipotle, or Nacho Cheese sauce.

Also making a comeback are the Steak Garlic Nacho Fries, priced at $4.99. This loaded dish features steak, cheese, nacho cheese sauce, pico de gallo, and a generous drizzle of the signature Creamy Garlic Sauce. Liz Matthews, Global Chief Food Innovation Officer, explained the inspiration: "The community showed us how powerful a simple drizzle of Creamy Garlic Sauce could be. What started as a fan hack quickly became a shared passion... Bringing back Cheesy Dipping Burritos alongside Steak Garlic Nacho Fries celebrates the role our fans played."

A Continued Focus on Bold, Limited-Edition Flavours

This menu shift continues Taco Bell's strategy of launching innovative, time-sensitive products to generate buzz. It follows last month's limited-time Baja Blast Pie, a bright teal, key lime-flavoured dessert inspired by the chain's iconic Mountain Dew drink, which sparked considerable debate online about its appearance and taste.

The return of the Quesarito and the introduction of the new garlic-centric items demonstrate Taco Bell's commitment to listening to its customer base and creating menu items that drive conversation and demand, ensuring fans keep coming back to see what's next before it disappears.
