YouTuber Shocked by Bill at Gordon Ramsay's Street Burger
YouTuber Shocked by Gordon Ramsay Burger Bill

YouTuber Sam Wilder, on a mission to visit every Gordon Ramsay restaurant, recently dined at the chef's Street Burger chain and was pleasantly surprised by the bill. The celebrity chef operates 88 establishments worldwide, from Michelin-starred fine dining to casual burger joints.

A Surprising Bill

Sam Wilder, who has already tried the three Michelin-starred Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in Chelsea, London, where he spent £390 for two people, found the Street Burger experience much more affordable. His total bill came to £22.75, which he described as "a lot better" than his previous dining experience.

The Menu and Atmosphere

Describing Street Burger as "Gordon Ramsay's take on fast food," Sam was impressed by the casual vibe. He noted the graffiti-covered restroom as evidence of the street theme. The menu was simple, with limited burger choices, but Sam felt compelled to order the "Idiot Burger," a reference to a 2015 sketch from James Corden's Late Late Show.

Sam's meal included the £15 Idiot Burger and fries, plus £1 chicken wings. He praised the fries as "very well seasoned" with a crispy exterior and fluffy interior. The Idiot Burger, featuring barbecue beef short rib, a smashed beef patty, smoked cheese, mushroom, and red onion, was described as "really nice" and "actually really tasty," though the brisket was slightly overpowering.

Chicken Wings and Overall Impressions

The three chicken wings, costing £3, were surprisingly spicy. Sam commented, "I was not expecting it to be this hot." Despite this, he was overall impressed with the value. He said, "Having tried the wings, the burger, and the fries, it's really well priced. All of this was 22 quid plus service. I'm pretty impressed."

While Sam admitted Street Burger is not the most fancy burger he has eaten, he believes it offers a gourmet burger experience at an affordable price. He concluded, "Good fries, good wings, and to top that off, it's affordable. Street Burger gets the Sam Wilder seal of approval."
