A wealthy family based in Chobham, Surrey, is offering a £50,000 salary for a full-time housekeeper to care for their two dogs and manage their large home. The role, starting in September, involves 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday, with some flexibility required.

Job responsibilities

The primary duties include caring for the family's two dogs, which involves daily walking, feeding, and letting them in and out of the home. The housekeeper will also be responsible for full housekeeping, including cleaning, tidying, laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management. When the family is away, the housekeeper will take care of the home and dogs.

During school holidays, there will be a fair amount of driving for sports activities, parties, shopping, and children's commitments. The successful candidate will also liaise with external contractors and perform light gardening.

Candidate requirements

The family is seeking someone with previous experience in a private household, who is proactive, organized, and able to use their initiative. Candidates must be comfortable with dogs, have strong driving experience, speak fluent English, and have the right to work in the UK.

The family has four children aged 12 to 22, and a car will be provided for use while on duty.
