Gdansk, located in Poland, might not be the most obvious choice for many travellers, but it profoundly impressed Gabriel Morris, the creator behind the popular YouTube channel Gabriel Traveler, which commands an impressive 613,000 subscribers.

Gabriel was captivated by the city's stunning architecture, rich historical tapestry, and lively market scenes. The experienced explorer believes that Gdansk, home to approximately 500,000 residents and ranking as Poland's sixth largest city, would appear even more spectacular under sunny skies.
Sharing his enthusiastic reflections on his YouTube platform, Gabriel described the city, situated about two hours by plane from the UK, as "mind-blowing". He expressed, "I'm really glad I decided to make the trip up to Gdansk. Gdansk is mind-blowing. This is one of the most amazing cities I've been to, absolutely."
He continued, "Hopefully you're getting the idea that this is a truly remarkable city with so much history. There is so much of the city to see. I had no idea Gdansk was going to be this phenomenal."

He noted, "You're also getting a less than ideal view of the city. Not just with the snow but the lighting is the main thing, this grey, overcast, definitely doesn't result in the best conditions for filming and exploring."
Nevertheless, he affirmed, "This is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe without a doubt. Really nice scene here. There's a market that's really pretty. Gdansk is really something else. Absolutely incredible."
