Local authorities have confirmed that the balcony gave way around 8:45 PM, just before the wedding procession arrived at the scene. According to police reports, the injured victims range in age from four to 35 years old.

First aid was administered at the location before the individuals were transported to STH Hospital in Haldwani for further medical treatment. Six people are currently hospitalised, though their exact conditions remain unknown at this time.
