A drive-by shooting in Brixton, south London, has left one man fighting for his life and three others hospitalised, with police still searching for the suspect.
Metropolitan Police were called to Coldharbour Lane shortly after 1am on Saturday following reports of a firearm discharge. Upon arrival, officers found four men with gunshot wounds. A 25-year-old man sustained life-threatening injuries, while three other victims, aged 21, 47, and 70, suffered injuries that are not considered life-threatening or life-changing.
Emergency services, including specialist crime officers, provided immediate first aid at the scene. All four were taken to hospital, where the 25-year-old remains in critical condition.
Detectives are working to identify those responsible, but no arrests have been made at this time. Police have appealed for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward.
The incident has shocked the local community, with residents expressing concern over the violence. Coldharbour Lane was cordoned off for several hours as forensic teams examined the scene.
