Dozens of firefighters are currently battling a significant blaze at a property situated close to a synagogue in north-west London. The fire, which broke out in Cazenove Road, Stamford Hill, prompted a major emergency response shortly after 4.14pm on Thursday.
Emergency Response
Fifteen fire engines and approximately 100 firefighters have been dispatched to the scene to tackle the inferno. The London Fire Brigade is leading the operation, working to bring the flames under control and prevent the fire from spreading to adjacent buildings.
Community Support
Volunteers from Shomrim, the Jewish neighbourhood watch organisation, have confirmed that the fire is next to a place of worship. They are providing support to officers from Hackney police, who are assisting with crowd control and ensuring the safety of local residents.
