Tragic Collision in Buckinghamshire Claims Life of 15-Year-Old Girl

A devastating three-vehicle collision on Friday night in Buckinghamshire has resulted in the death of a 15-year-old girl, with three teenagers subsequently arrested by Thames Valley Police. The incident, which occurred on the A355 at approximately 9.20pm, involved a motorbike carrying the girl as a passenger, a white Toyota Yaris, and a grey Toyota Hilux.

Details of the Fatal Incident

The girl was travelling as a passenger on a motorbike ridden by a 16-year-old boy from Beaconsfield when the crash happened. Following the collision, the rider was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. Additionally, two other teenagers—a 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl from High Wycombe—who were on another motorbike were also detained on the same serious charge.

Thames Valley Police have confirmed that a mandatory referral has been made to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) due to the presence of a police vehicle nearby at the time of the incident. The police vehicle was reportedly driving on the opposite carriageway and was not using blue lights.

Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dash-Cam Footage

Lead investigating officer Oliver Cahill-Smith expressed his sincere condolences to the family of the deceased girl and issued a public appeal for information. “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to please get in touch,” he stated. “I would also like to ask anyone who was driving in the area prior to the collision to review their dash-cam footage as it may contain information that could assist our investigation.”
