Two individuals have been taken into custody on suspicion of murder following the tragic death of a 55-year-old man in Grantham, Lincolnshire. The victim has been formally identified as Ian Jackson-Winch, a local resident, who is believed to have been stabbed to death.
Emergency Response and Fatal Incident
Emergency services were urgently dispatched to a property located on Greyfriars in Grantham late on Monday evening, January 26th. Police received a report at approximately 11:12pm concerning a man who had sustained serious injuries at the address.
Despite the immediate and concerted efforts of attending paramedics and officers, Mr Jackson-Winch could not be saved. He was pronounced deceased at the scene, marking a devastating outcome for his family and the local community.
