Two Children Missing After NSW House Fire

Two children remain unaccounted for after a devastating fire engulfed a house in the Blue Mountains region of New South Wales overnight.

Emergency Response

Emergency services were dispatched to the property on Lieutenant Bowen Rd in Bowen Mountain at approximately 2am on Monday. The fire had already taken hold, causing extensive damage to the building.

Five individuals, including a man in his 30s, a man in his late teens, and two primary school-aged boys, managed to escape the flames. They were subsequently transported to Nepean Hospital, where they were treated for smoke inhalation and minor injuries.

Search for Missing Children

However, police have confirmed that two family members, believed to be children, have not yet been located. Search efforts are ongoing as authorities work to determine their whereabouts.
